In Flat Broke in Paradise, Nick Thomas receives a lesson in pearl farming and a gift from a new friend on the island of Bora Bora.
The author designed and produced the pendant described in the book. The piece was cast in sterling silver, set with a Tahitian pearl, and strung on a Greek leather cord.
